Responding to the needs of local seniors, Urban Sites and Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority plan to develop a mixed-use center for seniors at the corner of Logan and Elder Street. This site near Findlay Market will include 42 units of dedicated affordable housing for those 55 and up, accessible design features, and a new community space for local seniors.
On the first floor of Logan Commons a new community center will offer activities and services, and will replace the existing OTR Senior Center on Race Street. The Senior Center will be operated by Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. New amenities include a courtyard, a large gathering space, a Senior Café, and space for fitness and health. Three additional floors will house seniors and offer connected living to nearby restaurants, shops, and activities.
Logan Commons will offer high-quality activities and living at an affordable price for Cincinnati seniors. With this new development, the surrounding area will benefit from added housing and increased walkability.
