This historic tax credit project consisted of a full renovation of an existing four-story mixed-use building. The end use of this project is in line with its historic use; three-stories consisting of 12 residential units over one ground floor of 3 retail commercial spaces. A significant goal of this project was to reopen historic window openings that had been bricked closed on the first floor and reopen and revitalize the commercial storefront in a style that is typical of similar historic commercial storefronts in OTR. In order for the historic integrity of the area to be reclaimed, the first-floor commercial spaces had to be reactivated.
